Ammonium Sulfate is typically one of the most common used inorganic nitrogen fertilizers. It is directly applied on a variety of soil and crops. It is particularly more suitable for the soil which lack sulfur and low chlorine tolerance crops.

Large granular ammonium sulphate can also serve as raw material for compound fertilizer. As feed additives, it provides the nutrients of non-protein nitrogen to ruminants. It also used for fish culture in some areas.
